The promo code went through without any issues, so that part was fine. But after waiting around for the sale, I expected the prices to feel a little better. Even with the discount, a lot of stuff still seemed expensive.

The bag itself feels sturdy, which I like, but the compartments are just okay. My stuff still ends up getting mixed together more than I expected, and I really wish there were a few more small pockets inside for little things. I was also a bit frustrated with how long I had to wait for it, so I was hoping the layout would be more impressive when it finally arrived.

I used this for work and the gym, nothing heavy-duty, and the zipper started catching quickly. A strap also started coming apart. For the price, I expected better.

I bought this bag from builtforathletes.com to use for the gym and work, and I’m annoyed with the water resistance. I got caught in the rain for maybe 10 minutes, not even some crazy downpour, and stuff inside was already damp, especially around the zips. It’s probably fine for a quick splash here and there, but if you’re expecting it to handle actual rain, don’t. For the price, I really expected better.

I thought the site would feel a bit cleaner and easier to browse, but it was more crowded than I expected. The product photos look great, and I do like the dark colours and sporty vibe. It just took me a little while to find what I was looking for because some pages have a lot going on. Overall, it’s not a bad site at all, just not quite as smooth or simple to use as I was hoping.

I was happy with this bag when it first arrived. It looks good, the size is practical, and it fits my gym gear without any issue, so on the surface it does the job well.
That said, the zippers are the main letdown for me. For the price, I expected them to feel a lot smoother and sturdier, but they catch quite often and one of the pulls already feels loose after fairly light use.
The buckles and clips also feel a bit plasticky, which is disappointing from Built For Athletes. If you're looking at this bag, I'd say it's fine if you care mostly about the look and size, but if tough hardware is important to you, I'd probably suggest checking a few other options first...

The bag itself was totally fine, so that’s the important part, I guess. But the box showed up smashed up, like it had been at the bottom of a pile or tossed around a bit. I opened it half expecting the bag to be damaged too, but luckily it wasn’t. Still, the packaging could definitely be better.

I was a little suspicious it would hold onto sweat or smell after workouts, but it wipes clean quickly. So far, no weird residue or anything.

I ordered from Built For Athletes and overall had a decent experience. I’m quite particular about what I buy, especially with training gear, and the bag I wanted was actually in stock, which was great. That said, a few of the colours and extra bits I was considering were sold out, which was a bit frustrating. Checkout was simple though, and delivery arrived without any issues. I’d probably order again, but I’d be happier if there was more stock available next time

The exchange took about forever to sort out, and support barely got back to me. I felt like I was waiting around with no real updates

The bag looks decent overall, but the molle setup was more frustrating than I thought it would be. I tried using my usual pouches from another pack, and they just didn’t sit right at all. The spacing felt a little weird, which made everything way more awkward than it should’ve been.

I managed to force one pouch on, but I completely gave up on the bottle holder. Maybe it works totally fine with their own accessories, but that’s not really what I needed it for, so it ended up being kind of disappointing

I’ve been using this to pack my shoes, clothes, and water bottles, mostly for gym days after work, and everything fits in easily. I tend to overpack even when I’m just going for an hour, so the space has been really handy. The only thing I’d change is adding one more small pocket for little stuff like keys or headphones.

It took forever to get replies, and every time I did hear back, it felt like I was just being passed to someone else. The bag basically works when it wants to at this point, and after all that back and forth, the final answer was pretty much that they weren’t going to fix it. Really frustrating, especially when you expect something like this to last. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

I was disappointed with this bag. The zippers started breaking after only a short time, and the fabric feels cheap. When I tried to deal with it, it kind of felt like they made it my problem instead of standing behind the product. Not really what I expected

I ordered a black 45L backpack, but what showed up was some random smaller bag in a different colour. The invoice had the right item on it, so the paperwork gremlin got that part right, but whoever packed the box clearly didn’t.

Customer service did the whole “send us photos” thing, then vanished for days. I needed the bag for a trip, so I gave up and returned it. Not exactly a great first order

Feels really solid so far, ngl. Seems like it’ll hold up well.

It’s fine with just a few things in it, but once you pack it heavy, the straps really start digging in. That part gets uncomfortable fast.
